Hello ALL!

Same here. My Apple II+ stayed with me from 1981 'till the end of 1989.
Even in its hay days, it still had a healthy number of games to choose
from. Since 1991, I have upgraded from 386SX/16 to 486DX/33 to
Pentium/90. In just four years, I have upgraded my computer three times.
Three times! Each time, I had to spent about US$1,200 to upgrade my
motherboard and CPU. Good gosh, I could buy a decent used car with that
kinda money!

And my Pentium will probably last me for 1 1/2 year or so...before
another upgrade. <sigh>

After I got my 2x CD-ROM, they released the 3x-speed the very next week.
You could never be certain about anything with computer technology these
days...

Heh heh...CD-writable technology won't be commonly available to the public
until two years from now. So which CD-ROM did you get?
