Last night I set my CD-ROM drive onto single spin mode, inserted the Privateer/Strike Commander CD in the drive, installed Strike commander with the minimum installation. I played the first two missions, I had absolutely no complaints. The time to load the mission at the start was a little longer, but if I only had a single spin CD-ROM drive, and only had 1.4 meg to spare on the HD, I would play Strike CD, no worries. So far Origin have done well with getting games that are supposed to be playable from CD, to play well from them.
