As graphics res get better, companies start to realize something: Why should we spend money paying artists to draw an actual pic when we can take a picture of some CA mt. and scan it into our comp? That's why KQ5 is so much better -- it has class. It's like comparing a Model T to a '96 Nissan: the Ford's got soul; the Nissan may look sleeker, but before it was so easy to mass- produce cars, the designers weren't just making some product, they were creating a work of art. I bought Crusader: No Remorse. I was impressed w/ its great graphics and inter. enviro. But jump was a precise formulated jump, of exactly the same length; if you missed your target, you fell off with a pitiful fall involving what was obivously a moving but inert bitmap. The game was repetitive, and had NO replay value; DOOM was actually more fun to play, and I'm a strat game fan. Also KQ5 is HARD the first time you play it.
