The Patches Scrolls - Internets biggest and most comprehensive list of
downloadable game updates - has been updated. Covering over 600 different
IBM pc titles , about 50 Macintosh titles and some Amiga titles, it
details for every file:
filesize,
version of game (neccessary and achieved after patching)
and where to download it.
The list has been posted to
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.announce & comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.misc &
comp.sys.mac.games.announce.
It is also available by sending mail to m...@irz.inf.tu-dresden.de with
subject "send patches scrolls" (the entire sentence and a correct reply-to
address is required since this service is automated). If you haven't
received any reply after 5 days, send a personal request to above address
and include your full e-mail address in your mail - but don't use
the same subject!
A different version of this list can also be obtained through the web from
http://www.inf.tu-dresden.de/~mr2 or in the US from
http://www.cdrom.com/~mr2

The Patches Scrolls - die wohl umfassendste Sammlung an im Internet zum
Download verfuegbaren Spieleupdates - ist mal wieder aktualisiert worden.
Sie listet momentan ueber 600 verschiedene Spiele fuer PC, etwa
50 fuer Macintosh und einige Amiga Titel und gibt zu
jedem File an:
Dateigroesse,
Version des Spiels (vor und nach dem Update)
und wo es zum Download bereitsteht.
Diese Liste wurde in comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.announce &
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.misc & comp.sys.mac.games.announce
gepostet.
Sie ist ferner erhaeltlich, indem man eine Mail mit dem Subject
"send patches scrolls" (die Anfuehrungsstriche NICHT verwenden, das
KOMPLETTE Subject muss gesendet werden) an m...@irz.inf.tu-dresden.de
verschickt. Bitte verwendet korrekte Reply-to Adressen, da sonst
die Antwort im Nirgendwo landet, da der automatische Dienst die ihm
angebotene Reply-to Adresse verwendet. Sollte eine Mail euch
nach 5 Tagen immer noch nicht erreicht haben, fragt nochmals (mit
anderem Subject) nach und gebt eure vollstaendige e-mail Adresse an.
Eine "nur-download" Version dieser Liste kann auch ueber WWW erreicht
werden:
