I am on the right newsgroup aren't I? If not, just ignore me. Oh, and
reply by E-mail because I don't check up on the newsgroups that often.

Well, before you start reeling off all sorts of games I wouldn't touch
with a barge pole, I'll just tell you the "rules of war". I'm as poor as
a church mouse when Mrs Chruch mouse has stolen all his money and run
off with another mouse, and as such can only afford budget games. No
more than £15 ($20?) please. I would also prefer either a turn based
strategy game or a real time strategy game. I'm not fussy, if its fun
and cheap its good enough for me. I'm stuck with a 486. I already have
Dune II. I also want a very long playability. i have Tie fighter and
have completed it 5 times, I have completed Dune II 4 times... Lots and
lots of missions, preferably with more than just different terrain, is a
must. You can suggest whatever you want, but here is a list of things I
am considering.

Warcraft 2 - the review is great but apparently all the missions tend to
be "destroy the enemy", and after Dune 2 I'm looking for something a
little different.

Command and Conquer - I hear its great and have played it, but my
computer won't take it at the moment (not enough disk space, even for a
demo of it).

UFO Enemy Unkown - I have read a strategy guide to it and it sounds
good, but don't know anything about price, fun, playability etc.

Wargame Construction Kit - Design your own, Sounds great, but Warcraft
alos allows you to design your own missions (so I hear) so possibly I
might as well get two with one stone.

At the moment Warcraft 2 looks best, with C+C comming up a close second.

Thanks
Ranger
