I'm not sure about some of these EC arguments about gun control.  I
come from DFW, Texas where the violent crime rate is WAY below that in
most major US cities.  Guns are easy to obtain in Texas and not
controlled by the gubment.  But, of course, as anywhere, you can
choose not to own a gun if you wish.  It's the "regulate-me culture"
in the EC that I reckon is dangerous, alongside their widespread
entitement programs, socialist philosophies and obscenely high taxes.
