I just finished downloaded greed and have played it for about 5 hours. heres what I think: Good Stuff: 1. Multiple Character Choices. 2. Sloping floors. 3. Awsome sound track. 4. Good key setup (and customizable) 5. Item menu. Cool items too. Bad Stuff: 1. The weapons of each character are indetical in power, they just look different. 2. Stupid, lame ass monsters. 3. Ammo is nowhere. I spent half the game with the melee weapon. Boring. 4. Game is very hard. Even on the second lowest diffulcity setting I could not beat the level. 5. Monsters respawn. Should be opitional. 6. Monsters acurate beyond belief (they never miss) 7. Walls at 90 degrees. Sigh... 8. Monsters don't have to face you to shoot as you. This really pissed me off. 9. No stacked rooms. Rooms can only be ajacent. 10. Story needs work. Date of game is the year 15425 or something like that. Who cares whats going to happen in 13 thousand years!!!!! Overall, I was at first delighted with this game but as I played I began to hate it more and more. It could be good, but needs some serious work. Just how the hell do you beat the first level?! No exit anywhere, explored every nook on cranny of the game and not a goddamn thing.

This is why I stopped playing. I was all over the level looking for the primary objective and never found it. I found lots of secondary objectives, though. I had been everywhere, and eventually with the respawning monsters, I ran out of ammo and health. After this happened for the 3rd time, I gave up and played a little DOOM. GREED is really a minor league effort, and with QUAKE and the BUILD games impending, I will be holding onto my money. +----David Laprad----------psc10003@mtsu.edu----------Doomsayer@IRC-----+ | **** **** ************ ******* **** **** | | **** **** ** *** ** *** *** *** *** | | *** * * *** *** *** *** *** | | *** * *** *** ******** *** *** | | *** *** *** *** *** *** | | *** *** *** *** *** *** *** | | **** **** *** ******* ****** | | Middle Tennessee State University | +======================================+================================+ | "Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely | | according to conscience, above all other liberties. | | -John Milton | +=======================================================================+
