Tried the demo...Quite exceptional. Quite interesting...The Demo speaks for itself. I'm quite satisfited and can't wait to get my grubby little paws on it... CMStr It's like butter....mmmm butter.

After dying so quickly time after time on the demo I ended up frustrated, and I found it a bit choppy on a P90/24MB even at 320x400. The game, however, is a lot less frustrating for me than the demo that was on a recent PC Gamer demo CD and the frame rate seems smoother. However, I'm running Windows 95 instead of DOS now, so maybe my perspective of a speedy frame rate is screwy now :) I had been annoyed by the right-alt, -shift, and -control scheme, but it doesn't seem too unwieldy after serveral hours of play. The plot behind the game is pretty good for an action game, and the voice acting and cinematic sequences are well done. Some bits of the game seem too Terminator-like (you meet up with a fellow escaping prisoner, John O'Connor, and later with his friend, a resistance leader named Sarah), but I've seen much worse. DSI definitely devoted attention to detail. While wandering around near the exit of New Alcatraz prison after clearing most of the levels, I found a region with exposed windows to the lunar surface. "Would it breach the atmosphere of the complex if I shot at the windows?" Of course. Three pistol shots later I was sucking vaccuum! I was a bit hesitant to get the game but so far I'm finding it very absorbing, fast-paced, cinematic, and very deadly. -- Russell Webb rw...@panix.com

Yah this is really annoying, but hey, maybe it's some sort of inside joke. Oh, and it's barely playable on a 486/33 ... it runs ok, just a little choppy at times, but I've only played the first level. -- Alan Dunkin (dunk...@utdallas.edu or adu...@nyx.cs.du.edu) Confirmed Kill info, gaming news, FAQs, observations, and card gaming. I believe that the key is F8 or F9. See if that doesn't help with the speed of the game at all. :) Chico Origin PS
