Has anyone gotten Abuse demo to run at 640x480? I have a Diamond Stealth 64
under win95. No vesa drivers, PCI slot.

Anyone like this game, hate it? I played it for a bit, and its not bad. Wish
I could experience SVGA tho. And it is a bit dark, but thats easily fixable.

Sure, under Linux. :^) I got no idea what you need to do under Win95.

According to the DOS_NOTE.TXT file: "You must have a VESA driver
loaded in order to play hi-res."

Well, in case someone hasn't noticed, I think Abuse is the greatest
thing since Ed Meese left government...

Actually, SVGA isn't that great for gameplay. The levels are designed
to be played in 320x200 -- otherwise you can see too much of the level
layout and the game becomes too easy (and not nearly as surprising).
Also from DOT_NOTE.TXT: "It is recommend that you beat Abuse at
320x200 before playing hi-res, because you can see more than you are
supposed to."

So what's SVGA for? It's really nice for editing levels.

I managed to get it running in all video modes except 1280x1024 and that's
because my monitor won't handle it. Basically it's the same but the window
is very small. I'd just rather play in 320x200.
