P120 enough for SVGA?

I just purchased a P120/8 megs ram/ATI WinTurbo 2megsVRAM for equal duty
between schoolwork, telecommuting, and yeah, games. I was under the
impression that a 120 mhz pentium would be more than adequate for running
action games in SVGA mode (the 66mhz Powermac I was using before was
*almost* enough to drive 3D action games such as Dark Forces and
Marathon2 in SVGA at high frame rates), but after sifting through many of
the threads in the various c.s.i.p.g.* groups I now find myself concerned.

Does the 120 mhz pentium have enough guts to run these 3D action games in
SVGA? I'd be very disappointed in the hardware if it doesnt. The switch
from Mac to PC was painful enough to make, if performance is going to be
less than stellar I'll be doubly crushed...

Any real info?

TIA!
