Here another point from this "MS advocate": os2's >gonna do *real* well after August 24! As of this weekend I noticed the biiggies (Like Best Buys) are including this in their ads. "Buy any computer and get a free Windows 95 Upgrade" Fine Print says that upgrade will be available in around the end of August. On the other hand Micro Center is stuck with several pallets of WARP that hasn't sold. When I asked their sales force about NT 3.51 they tried to sell me WARP. When I asked about W95 they tried to sell me WARP. <grin> Privately several who know me got me aside and said that they are under orders not to talk about W95! All are schedualed to go to classes about W95 shortly. Another said he didn't understand why their NT books were two years outdated when they had several bookshelves crammed with WARP "How to's that haven't sold". He said he daily gets reamed out for not having NT resources and books. They even have NT 3.5 resource kit for $99 and none in stock. Someone in management made a very bad decesion and the grunts on the floor are taking the flack from the public. WARP-> deserves a BLUE * award for name OS/2-> only half an PC OS the Windows 95 compatible part is missing Phil Anders WARP: 1. to distort or cause to distort so as to lose truth or objectivity. 2. a mental twist, bias or quirk. 3. to distort a person's judgement or principals. - Oxford American Dictionary
