And the commando can't afford >to take damage. > This took me some time, but I should be able to shed some light. First problem is the sam sites. When you bomb them, after dropping the C-4 your commando should run a few steps away so the blast will not harm him (He'll do this automaticly). When he stops running , get him to run a bit farther then turn around and drop any guys that have emerged from the explosion. The easiest way to complete this mission is to first blow up the obvious first two sam sites and get in the chopper. Land the chopper at the yellow smoke grenade , deploy the commando and send him SOUTH , then west up along the west side of the map. You'll have to drop a few more guys and take out another sam site, then walk him as far north as you can (you'll come to the edge of that plateau) Send the chopper to land near him. Now WAIT for the buggy to pass and head south, then jump into the chopper and drop him down at the base of the cliff. Proceed north taking out a few more guys , and follow the 'canyon' around to the base enterance. Wait for any troop patrols to move away from the enterance, then run in keeping as far to the north side of the enterance as possible. Run straight to the north wall of the base the East and destroy the communications centre. Send the team with the 2 tanks (I'll call this team one) due south to the south end of the map (don't take the south-east route when the canyon splits), then east and stop just short of the enemy base. Team two proceeds South , then East to the North wall of the base. The RECON BIKE in team 2 MUST be well protected, even at the cost of all other units in team two. When both teams are in position attack with team 1, and after getting the attention of the base retreat to just outside the range of the turrets Making sure that the enemy units chase you out. With the enemy units engaging team one , you have a few clear seconds inside the base. Use the recon bike to blow a hole in the wall. Proceed straight south and blow a hole in the fence. Get the container then head for an exit in the SOUTH wall of the base. At this point team 1 will be decimated and you'll have guys all over you, but don't stop to fight. Make a mad dash south then west and onto the platuea with the smoke, and the chopper will come to pick up your lone survivor :) Trevor
