: 16 megs EDO ram, and 256k PLB cache. My performance results varied:

Ok I have played the demos of most of these games except for cybermage so
I'll add some coments. My system p100 16 megs edo ram S3 chipset card 2
mb dram.

Witchaven: I liked the idea hated the implementation. The graphics were
OK but way to confusing, and the level design left a lot to be desired.
SVGA was pretty fast but not quite fast enough and I just could not tell
what was going on in VGA. The controls sucked and the collision detection
was very poor. I really think a shield was necessary for this game to be
really playable, but alas my cries to capstone went unheard. Without the
shield I just found it too much of a hack hack before they can get to you
game which with the early weapons can be a chore.

Tek war: Did not play this one as much. Play was kinda slow but as
previously said it hasn't been optimized. The collision detection sucked
worse than WH simply because there was more to collide with. I found
myself bobbimg up and down all over the place as I encoutered beds and
the such it made me seasick. The environment was very nice, ten times
better than WH, yet the guys just shoot at t you and by the time you
figure out where its coming from your dead. Could have been good but wasn't.

Cybermage: haven't played

Magic Carpet 2: Let me start off by saying that magic carpet 1 is one of
my favorite games. It played perfectly in VGA on my friends P60 which is
where I played until I upgraded my 386. Unfortunately when I upgraded to
my P100 it ran way tooo fast in VGA and it was not fast enough in SVGA.
This really ruined the game for me. The speed on the P60 was perfect in
VGA. Magic CArpet 2 maintains that same problem for me. Way tooo fast
in VGA and not fast enough in SVGA. The SVGA engine is a lot faster than
the one im MC1 but still not fast enough. The game looks great if only
it would support a joystick like MC1.

Well my opinions for what its worth.
