Since it is very unlikely anybody would run -> their games on NT or Unix, P6 provides no speed improvement over P5 for -> PC gamers. Fianlly, gaming on X86 has hit the ceiling. In case you didn't know, Win95+WinNT=Win97. So, by the time P6s will be available for home PCs, PC users will be running their games on WinNT (well, sort of). Win95 is not the ultimate PC OS, it's a transient product to move PC gamers from MSDOS to a GUI. For now it contains 16bit code to offer as much compatibility to older MSDOS games as possible. Later, when people don't use the older 16bit programs, 16bit code is not needed anymore. --- TLT ---> WWW: http://www.compart.fi/~ttammi <---
