Actually the bonus stages have always been present in SF2 series until
Capcom made a big mistake to remove them starting from SSF2T.
Probably Capcom wants to make more money by doing that as
players would spend a lesser average time playing SF.  I'm so
disappointed that Capcom didn't put the feature back in SFA.  I
hope the bonus stages would be back in later SF versions!
