Regarding the issue of weapons missing at point blank: I think it may be a problem with the renderer, and its interation with the collision detection. Often if someone is up against a wall/cliff/hill... I could see them from the other side. Once I was even able to hit them with a missle. IN the DOME scenario, one of the enemy mechs was able to get inside, yes, INSIDE the dome, and spent the rest of the game running around in circles...trying to get out...walking through the ghostly interior structures. I suspect that surfaces that are not displayed, (ie: you are edge-on with them) don't get rendered, for that instant you are perfectly aligned, so a mech at the wrong place at the exact right time could pass through. I suspect its a bug, but it's rarely a problem. Other bugs like getting the right arm blow off so frequently I now design all my mechs to have nothing there, is a problem. How come the enolagay cheat doesn't work every time? Anyone wanna play a modem game? Email me.
