No. I'm a big Duke fan and have been following DNF. They started using Quake 2 engine in early 1998. Switched to Unreal engine in June/July 1998 and stated right then that the game won't be released before the end of 1998 because a lot of people were expecting Christmas release. DNF was expected to be released in 1999, but 3D Realms never ever even hinted on the possible release date. Don't know where end-of-1999 came from, probably NGs or gaming magazines/sites. DNF will be out "When it's done". -- medusa -nospam- [at] USAF [dot] org remove -you-know-what- to reply Joe Ankenbauer <anke...@radiks.net> wrote in message news:380CEEE8.A4EF5421@radiks.net... > Just how stupid are you? 3DRealms has been working on this game for so long > that it has gone from a Quake I engine to a Quake II engine to the Unreal > engine. > > It hasn't been delayed?
