i'm currently [trying] to play the xcom collectors edition - enemy unknown & terror from the deep - with xcomutil i used to hammer the dos versions in the unknown terror release and thought i'd play with all the interesting tweaks the util provides i can play fine until there's a tactical mission, when i'm dumped out to desktop without an error message - when i should get the arming screen the vanilla install plays fine in both geoscape and tactical, so the problem is definitely xcomutil i selected all the interesting/challenging options except randomising ships/terrain and prompting for battleground choice athlon 1100, 512pc133, k7t master, gf2 32gts, sb live; w2ksp4 i tried disabling dd accel with same results any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm hooked all over again tia

At least, this workaround works for me. It seems like it's only the first combat that causes problems, but I'm not too sure. -- Bill Rosgen wrosgen@telusplanet.net
