Hi,

I am willing to trade 3D Studio MAX R2, X-COM 1 & 2, and several other
programs for Apocalypse. email me at:
cdu...@mail.inspired-designs.net

Announcment:
My gaming company, StarBLADE Studios, is currently talking to Microprose
about the possibility of re-making the first X-COM. It will be a Win95
program, with better graphics, better sound and music, more aliens, UFO's,
craft, weapons, etc

We will post all development news to this group. Anyone intrested in
beta-testing the new game, post to this group.

You probably have all heard about this.
But just in case.
There is a new x-com game in the works.
It is first person BUT. You control a team of five people.
You give them orders and they react with AI.
It uses a cool 3d engine.
Screen shots are splendid.
You can take direct control of all of the characters but there will be a
strong strategy influence.

I for one am very glad to hear this as I spent many fun filled days playing
the original which
was the best in the series. I would still be playing it today with my
friends if it had the
hot seat options that Laser Squad did. If you are remaking this game
please include the ability
to play two players squaddie v. alien or squaddies v. squaddies by hotseat
or even e-mailing turns
 back and forth ala Stars!.
