I know how this feels. In writing a role-playing game about time travel,
I've attracted a large number of kooks. Since my website contains
technical details about temporal physics and dimensional travel in the
game, I'm always getting emails from people who think it's all real, and
some of them won't take "it's only a game" for an answer. I had one guy
start claiming that I wasn't really me, but a government stooge who'd
taken over my email address after the real Chris had been "silenced" for
telling too much! :)
