I think that going from Morelmen with Browning pistols on one mission to
them being armed with Advanced Alien Lasers on the next constitutes an
upping of the difficulty... So much so that I'm having real difficulties
even completing the easiest types of missions! Having had to abort the odd
one or two so far and delegating others!

Yes, I discovered that after I had already put in a few hours, not wanting
to throw away that time I decided to carry on muttering the imortal words:
"Hmm, it doesn't seem *too* bad at the moment...."

I'm beginning to think that I should restart on easy just to get the hang
of the research lines and the finer points of the enemy; afterall UFO:EU
seemed more fun once I knew all the dangers and different strengths and
weaknesses so I could concentrate on the actual strategic and tactical
side of the game.
