Prophecy was running great, then I tried the improved resolution mod. That mod would not let me play the movies without freezing the game. So, I uninstalled everything. Now Prophecy, when reinstalled, freezes up without ever displaying anything other than the launch menu (the install/play/etc. box). Any suggestions or ideas? When you uninstalled, did you also go in and manually delete the WCP directory before going to reinstall? A lot of programs don't uninstall completely until you manually nuke the actual directory. WCP is one of them. Uninstall, delete the directory completely, and then reinstall. If that should fail, repeat, but do a scandisk/defrag of your hard drive before the reinstall step. (Logic would dictate that scandisk and defrag would have no effect, but putting "logic" together with "Windows", without any negative modifiers, is an exercise in frustration.)
