Hi,

My first experience was Leisure Suit Larry (Sierra-Adventure). Then I
continued with an Atari ST with Sierra Adventures (Space Quest etc.), then
stumbled over Dungeon Master (which was first designed for Atari Computers).
Now I am mainly playing role-playing-games and sometimes good adventures or
simulations on an Intel-compatible computer.

Well, I bought a soundblaster 16 recently, however, it turned out not to be
completely soundblaster compatible <g>.

I think, they'd still be an important part of a coputer for multimedia
applications. Nevertheless, I think that these computer extensions have
probably developped by far faster than they would have without games.

I don't think that virtual reality is far off. In this century, however, it
will be far off being very impressive.

I sincerely regret the trend of computer games to involve too much action and
arcade (even in simulations, RPG's, and adventures). In addition, adventures
and also RPG's have become less challenging.
