Of course this is going to be another question about that ever so
complicated kali.. I have it pretty much set up the only thing I was
wondering is. After I hook to my internet povider with the PPP program it
ask me new or unix. I figure I need to go to the unix or do I just leave
it there and run kali.

Thanks.

Hmm, probably neither. What you need to do is enable ppp somehow, or at
least that's how it is with my provider. I have a "shell" account, but
they also allow ppp. Anyways, in order to go into my shell account, of
course I go into unix, but in order to go to ppp, I have to select a
different option from the login menu. You can maybe try just typing ppp
somewhere, and that might work. Are you sure you have a ppp account?

If you don't have a ppp account, you can always go the other route with
slirp, which is a ppp emulator for a shell account. I've used it before
and it works pretty good. But, I've heard some ISP's get a little ticked
if you use it, so be careful or else don't do anything that will make
anyone notice you.. :)

With my provider, after the I login with username and then password we
have to enter "ppp default" after the prompt. It then goes into ppp
and then we press "alt s" and everyting works great.

Hope this helps
