The German version of WCII is *fully* translated but don't expect Hogan's
Heroes type translations. The German translations are very well done and
very entertaining. If your only interest here is expecting them to be
Hitler-type tacky WWII comic fascist voices then I'm sorry to disappoint
you. I don't want to be presumptuous here but do you have any knowledge of
German or Germany at all? There's more to German and Germany than your
above suggested mail indicates you know. Please don't insult
German/Germanophile readers of this newsgroup by suggesting that that the
German version of the game would be so translated.

I'm half German, most of my relatives in this state were born and raised
in germany, I lived with my German grandma for about three months, my
uncle has a German resteraunt(and the German club meets there). I wasn't
thinking of hitler at the time I posted that message(if I was, I would
have mentioned "sieg hiel") I was simply translateing the english words
to the best of my knowledge of the german language (yes my lord == ya
mine furor) I don't know the german word for "lord" so I just picked the
closest thing and I just replaced "sire" with "commandont". you must be
paranoid. or maybe you are ashamed of the german language, I am not
ashamed of the German language(even though Hitler spake it) nor am I
ashamed of america(even though the KKK is from america).
BTW, could you E-mail me those German Warcraft 2 sounds?
