I have just started leveling a rogue this morning.  On one of the 
toolbars I see the icon for <http://www.wowhead.com/item=28041> and the 
trinket is not in the bag.  My rogue is level 5.  So there is definitely 
a glitch with the toolbars.

Actually I think its a local glitch.  I've just found more items on my 
toolsbars.  I use the Dominos addon for costumizing my toolbars and I 
guess the items are remnants from other chars.  Addon issue in other words.

May well be one but it's not Dominos, since I don't run that and I
also get this issue :-) I don't think I've noticed it on characters
with 0 addons lately, but I've certainly had it happen with 2 I
recently rolled with addons enabled, so I guess one of them's doing
something  - weird thing is, nothing I have interacts with the
actionbars in any way that I'm aware of. Wonder if we have any in
common, mine are:

Another annoyance I have, is something is randomly creating folders in
my WTF folder - where there should only be account folders, there are
occasional server folders with nothing in them. Guessing it's an addon
again, but which, I have no idea...

  Even with addons disabled I still got a non-existent healing potion 
show up in a new rolled character.
  It does seem to be items/actions I have placed on other characters.

  Toolbar addons are likely to just add to a problem if things get 
changed unexpectedly.

Maybe time for a backup, just in case if you don't do them regularly.
At the least the caches can be flushed
  of course murphy say this backup is already corrupted but any backup 
(non permanant) drive that isn't full is $ going unused


At least it is unlikely to be all our drives and memory going cactus at 
the same time :-)

I created a few new chars back then and I think maybe they had it as 
well, didn't give it much thought.


If it doesn't actually affect game play according to design it won't get 
fixed soon. Although it could be confusing to new players.

Same here.  I just deleted them and I havent seen them since then. :)

Now I remember I saw 2 scriber scrolls (scroll of stamina and one more) 
on my toolbar this morning.  I remember I used them on my druid in BC. 
That was 6 years ago...  I know lots of variables from in-game settings 
and addons are saved on the server.  But this is crazy. :)

Guess at least we all know it's not just us now :-) If it's just
Blizzard's end I'll not worry, it's more funny than anything else tbh,
seeing what random spell appears next!

I don't like to run with a blueberry all the time.  Being a gnome warlock, I prefer a
fel imp.  They don't constantly make noises and they real short like a goblin.  Plus,
when a PuG pops I don't have to worry about the tank fussin' at me.  I only bring out
the blueberry when I'm by myself with a melee mob.
