I used to charge then thunderclap, but that was before 4.0, don't
believe I ever had a way to spread rend around with thunderclap, that
sounds pretty nice as an option! I'd probably figure what your
groupmates are like; if they unleash massive aoe nukes the second you
charge, thunderclap first, if not, go for the spreading your bleed
around deal.

Heroic Strike is the warrior version of Maul really, nowadays intended
just to be used when you have plenty of rage, to burn it off. I'm
still trying to train myself to not spam Maul, but just to hit it when
I've got lots of spare rage anyway! With a few mobs hitting me I can
spam to my hearts content, but it's trickier to remember not to when
there's less incoming rage.

I believe Strike is just there as a generic ability for warriors below
lvl 10 who don't have their spec-specific ability yet. so at least
they can do *somethying* (all meleeish classes that didn't already
have a spammable ability got given one for low lvls,  thank goodness,
seal of righteousness+autoattack as a lowbie pally was BORING :-P).
Think you can safely take it off your bars now.

Word of warning, that *will* leave you with no rage (or almost none, I
forget if you get to keep some when you don't have high lvl talents).
At a higher lvl, there should be a talent that lets you charge in
combat and in any stance, but you're probably a way off that one atm
(it was lvl 50 pre-4.0, no idea what it is now)

Not really. I believe shouts now give rage? If so, pull from ranged on
one you can't just charge in on, and then do a shout - the gained rage
will give you a little threat on all mobs; maybe not much, but it's
something. Likewise I'll often faerie fire and then enrage on my bear,
gain both rage and treat this way.
