Is anyone else having the same problem? You can try to disable error control and compression in your modem via the init string. If you do so, connect at the exact speed of your modem (14.4, 28.8, etc...) . The strings needed are different for every kind of modem, they should be in your modem's manual. They should be something like AT &F /N0 /Q0 (Those are for my modem). The init. strings are for the person who calls. I had the same problem and it worked great, I hope it works for you. O. Martin
