It works!! :-) Unfortunately if you once had the item and it expired, you can't loot it again without abandoning and retaking the quest, but Cro's Revenge is up today, so, went in on heroic with my bf (620 pally, he went prot for this) and me as 665 disc priest, early trash packs are easy enough for us to kill with our gear lvl, head dropped, went out and back in on normal, killed boss, boom, quest complete. Brilliant, 7/10 for me then, and we can repeat the process when the other quest in there spawns. Given how relatively easy the trash was (not like really easy, but we were in no danger of dying), I reckon with Tanaan gear we might manage some endbosses of normal 100 dungeons, and get far enough into heroics for the items, maybe I will get my inn soon! Still got to get brave and find a pug for the legendary quest though... *sigh*.
