seals of tempered fate question

A week or more back I heard the call that Tarina the Ageless was up, A raid
group of about 40 had formed and was doing him. I got invited, jumped on a
flight path and went to totally the wrong area. Like a goose, I tried again
and in my haste clicked another wrong area - I could see the raid wiped once
and was failing badly a second time with graveyard run-ins dying fast. By
the time I got there about 8 people were left in the group and I somehow
became raid leader.

I started my usual goofy tones calls for people and by the after a few
minutes we had 26 people and decided to give it as go.

Now earlier on I'd grabbed a Tempered Seal of Fate..

Fight went smooth as silk, we lost one player who got b-ressed . I was
sitting on my arc mage at 5th on dps and was pretty please, but paused
casting to call encouragement as we started taking some heavy hits to the
raid, it smoothed out again and then he was down!

In the middle of my screen up popped a bonus roll! I didn't know these
applied to world bosses, but I clicked it. Now in Pandaria raids choosing
to use bonus rolls caused the bonus roll notification box to go through a
roll animation then anounce with a flash what additional loot you won - in
this case the box just disappeared, and checking my currency tab I saw my
Tempered Seal of Fate was gone. Witing about 30 seconds while I grats and
thanked everyone and checked Skada, I wandered over to the boss who was
glittering - suggesting he had loot for me, and received 30g and a pair of
640 gloves (big grin!)

As far as the raid went I was stoked - I took least damage (a whole 48k)
which I healed with a health pot, and overall damage was 11th. not bad. A
few days later it started bugging me about the loot roll so I ticketed it
asking if that's the way they worked now and if it was I didnt think it was
very good as there was no clear indication that loot had actually been
rolled. I asked that the fight and loot log be checked and if I didnt
receive loot as it appeared, could I be refunded my Tempered Seaal of Fate.

Basically this post is asking whether this has happened to anyone else - the
roll box just disappearing and no loot awarded?

then the fun began..

Firt reply was 'Thank you for contacting us regarding a purchase made with
in an in-game currency. Unfortunately, according to our current policies,
we are unable to refund or assist you with this request in any way. We
understand mistakes happen to the best of us but the developers have put in
systems that allow these items to be refunded back to the vendors if noticed
within enough time.' they also closed the ticket entirely.

yeah no.. ticketed it again, (tempted to ask if mummy was there please but
that never goes well) referring to my original ticket

the next reply was 'During times of extraordinary contact volume we
implement adaptive processes designed to answer players at a much quicker
pace, but these methods sometimes cause an occasional player to receive
incorrect assistance. If we have misidentified that your issue is not yet
resolved, please accept our apology and know that we have a plan to assist
you further. You may reopen or create a new ticket and include the
following code phrase in your ticket text '

another ticket

reply " reading over your ticket I took a look into your character's
activities over the last few days but I am afraid I was not able to see a
kill of Tarina anywhere during that time. " (note I included both the date
and time of the kill)

Another ticket, this time including the screenshot, pointing out I was raid
leader, and also pointing out the loot I received - clear in chat saying
"you loot 30g" and "you loot Gloves of Whatever"

the reply was annoying: 'I looked in to the kill , The screen shot helped
me get the right day . As for what you got i was able to verify you got 33
gold from the boss drop and from your coin you got Quadripedal Grips. They
are the ones you have on your hand now '

not happy, I ticket again explaining why, the reply I got contradicted other
replies saying

'When we did investigate this, we see that you got 33 gold and the
Quadripedal grips from the bonus roll. If you are not seeing it on your end,
you may need to clear out your cache files' along with the mandatory (and
inane) delete your WTF, Cache and Interface folders..... <I'm snarling by
now>

in goes another ticket pointing out the contradiction and again asking
whether the bonus roll box disappearing was the norm now

the reply
'I was able to check into the logs and I can specifically verify that the
gold was won from the boss loot. And the gloves were won from the bonus
roll. I totally understand that this is not what you saw happen on your end.
But as we can verify on our end that you did infact get loot and that you
are wearing said loot I hope this can help clarify things up. The previous
GM suggested clearing your cache since you saw some display problems when
the bonus roll happend. '

so now I am snarling.
I log in and buy some new Seals of Tempered Fate and head to Highmaul.
Finished the raid with screenshots- (I was second on damage woot! - a huge
step up for my arc mage who was doing so poorly a week back)

well, the roll box performed as per the way I expected, animation, flash -
message 'you won loot' etc

the screenshots clearly show looting boss generates the message exactly as
in the screenshot of the Tarina fight "you loot ItemName"
and bonus loot roll wins come up "you receive bonus loot: ItemName"

now as I said, my original screenshot sent to Blizz showed clear aqs day
that the loot they say I won on a bonus roll was in fact looted, and NOT a
bonus roll.

reticketed it. pointing out all these things, the contradictions, the fact
I felt dismissed, the fact that firstly they couldn't find the fight, then
all of a sudden they know everything about the loot roll - but what they
told me was utterly wrong. I also expressed extreme dissatisfaction at the
way this was being handled.

no reply yet.

to be continued.
