Let's talk about cata and about raid only and about boss fights only cause
only there it really matters.
So decurse what? And even if you have to decurse healers should do it if in
any case possible. Another question is interrupt what? Mages shouldnt really
be on interrupt casue they have a huge cooldown and they cant interrupt
reliably with their huge CD. It's a tank/melee dps job. And for the
occasional interrupt it shouldnt matter on dps cause counterspell is off the
global CD and even if you have to interrupt a spell half cast in 2-3
occasions it shouldnt be the end of the world.

Busy doing what? If healers cant heal means something is wrong, what if
those dps were hunters who cant heal?

What boss has CC in cata? Where did those hunters kite adds and when? In
Blackwing lair?

Last time I saw the aggro problems was in TBC or where the tank really sucks
;p

We killed maloriak without a lock cause we didnt even have 1 in guild,
several times and nothing bad happened. By casting tongues instead of
elements you are lowering all magic dps by 8% and making the fight last
longer because your melee and tank have slow reflexes to interrupt?
