Spoken like someone unused to playing a dps at a high level. Interrupts? Decursing? You should be able to handle that and still do well on recount. For example, lets assume that your rotation is 30 attacks per minute, and that you have to decurse 12 times during a 5 minute fight. That means you wasted 15 seconds decursing (assuming a 1.25 second global cooldown after haste), which leaves 285 seconds to dps, or 142.5 attacks in 5 minutes instead of 150 attacks, for an expected dps of 95% of the theoretical maximum. Thus, if your dps players are complaining that decursing is causing more than a 5% dps loss, then they are blowing smoke up your ass. As for movement, that's just another excuse used by bad dps players. Yes it reduces your dps, but not by much. Movement means you have to stop casting, and replace your cast with an instant attack, using the 1.25 second global cooldown to move. Thus, your dps should only drop by the difference between the casted spell and the instant spell. Again, if that's more than a 5% dps loss, the player is blowing smoke up your ass. The *only* things that affect dps by more than 5% or so are fight mechanics that force you to stop dps. Normal stuff like interrupts, decursing, and movement should be just a mere blip in your dps. -- // T.Hsu
