Yes! Time to get working with my druid on Frenzyheart/Aldor then ;-) > * Many "Account Bound" heirlooms are now labeled as "Battle.net >Account Bound", meaning that they can also be traded or mailed to >characters that are on different World of Warcraft accounts under the >same Battle.net account. /cheer! Awesome, I tend to put my actual heirlooms on the right account, but I do end up cursing every time an Archaeology item drops that would be great... on a character on my other account. I've been surprised I didn't get Zin'rokh yet fankly, given I don't have a 2h wielder on the same account as my archaeologist, and have two on the other account :-P > * Mail sent to characters on the same Battle.net account now >arrives instantaneously, as it does for the same World of Warcraft >account. Yay, no more having to either trade in person or use the guildbank (or forgetting and cursing as I have to wait an hour) > * The maze section has been removed, and nearby creatures and >bosses have been adjusted to compensate. Hmm, sounds intriguing, I'm wondering how that area will work now! Although not complaining, the only way I could ever do that place without getting lost was turn left on every junction, which did tend to involve killing a bunch of things that weren't really necessary :-P > o Each challenge can be completed a set number of times per >week. Now I am curious as to what, exactly, "level appropriate" is. If Blackrock Caverns/Throne of the Tides are level appropriate for lvl 85s, then you can bet me and my bf are going to have a very good try at duoing them! If not then we at least still have some lvl 80/high 70s characters, turning exp off on them and running WotLK instances should work alright, just a shame we have no healer in that lvl range, so pally tank selfheals will get a good test! I cannot wait for this, levelling off questing exp alone is a little on the slow side when there's only 2 people in the guild - we just reached lvl 4 last night lol. > * The rate at which Honor Points are earned has been doubled. Interesting! I won't complain, since I'm only getting my PVP set up rather slowly... but then on one TolBarad per day, I don't really expect to get tons of honor. Won't complain about gearing up faster though, I feel rather squishy with low resilience :-P > * Lacerate bonus threat has been removed and replaced with >increased initial damage done. Now... is that a threat nerf, or a damage buff? If threat remains much the same, then cool, I always want more damage when doing old raids and so on! > * Savage Defense has been redesigned slightly. Instead of a single >charge absorption, it now places an absorption effect on the druid >absorbing up to 35% of the druid's attack power (modified by mastery, >if applicable) in damage and lasting 10 seconds. So basically a huge pack of low-hitting mobs all get absorbed, instead of only one of them. I think I like this a lot. > * Swipe (Bear) cooldown has been reduced to 3 seconds, down from >6, and is now trainable at level 18 (training cost has been reduced). >In addition, the bonus threat from this ability has been removed and >replaced with increased damage done. Hah, they noticed lowbie bears have a small tanking issue then! Good! Extra damage is also a good thing, although I'm waiting for the complaints about bears doing too high damage :-P > * Thrash bonus threat has been removed and replaced with increased >damage done. Hmm, yeah lol. But hey, I'll find this *very* nice for duoing old raids, every bit of extra damage is a bit less time spent on trash :-P > * Hunters will automatically acquire a new target if the current >target dies in the middle of a cast. That kinda sounds like a recipe for accidental pulls... :-P -- EU-Draenor: Sagart (85 Undead Priest) Tairbh (85 Tauren Druid) Buinne (82 Troll Shaman) Balgair (80 Human Rogue) Ruire (80 Blood Elf Paladin)
