You just finished Wacraft III :) Lo, I'm still only partway through actual WC III, started it ages ago but got distracted when I moved house last year, never finished it yet. I'll have to get around to it now! >Very good work, especially on Archimonde and the boss in the Horde base >that one shot people one by one. Back in Wotlk, I had made some run with >10-15 people, and this boss was the first one wiping us. Lol I can well see why! Only reason we got through it was that with lvl 85 healthpools I could live a while (although it was *still* a pain to avoid/outheal the rain of fire, that still hurts a fair bit), plus my bf could pump out enough dmg before he died that I only had about 1 million to solo (and thankfully Thrall was still alive too to help out a bit) It's certainly not an eay fight, and had my bf lived less time (my priest got taken out before him, thankfully, which gave us an extra 45 sec or so), I'd have struggled to get the rest of the health down before I ran out of health myself. Archimonde was similar, very very close on the dps thing, if I go back I'll take note and find every dps buff I can before starting, rather not leave it so late as to have him actually hit enrage before we reach 10% lol! I assume gearing up a touch will help there though; frankly I was amazed we managed it at all, it's nice to see how possible this raid actually is now. Definitely needs a healer in the group though, a lot of things damage me quite a lot, and feral heals are so weak nowadays :-( >I went back there yesterday to finish this rep, but alone, it usually >becomes impossible with the 6th wave still partially here and the 7th >coming. If I don't want to die, I run away and let Jaina die. Better her >than me. I can well imagine that! Those abominations hurt a fair bit, stun = no dodging/savage defence, and I tend to be down at half health or so till my bf switches to his priest and heals me up again, soloing would be pretty tough. Would love to try on a tankadin though, Word of Glory would make life much easier! >That's another exalted rep, I'm now at 46. I have still 4 from Cata (only >exalted with Therazane and Hyjal, so there is still Tol Barad, Dragonmaw, >Ramkahen and Earthen Ring), so I can have 50 without too much effort. Grats :-) I'm on 48 atm with 4 Cataclysm ones to go myself, plus I believe guildrep will count so that'll be 53. Question is where to go for the last two for the guild achievement; I'm thinking Scale of the Sands for one, if I can persuade my bf to help, since this went far easier than I expected. Possibly Brood of Nozdormu for the other, or maybe Hydraxian (can solo Hydraxian, over the course of 6 months or so, will need my bf to help for Brood, though that one would be less time needed) >After that... Well Frostwolf would be ok, but I'm still neutral with Arathi >and Warsong. The new gobelin cartel, easy. My guild's rep is improving, >too. I could go to Scholazar and change faction, but will it count? Afraid it won't, at least it certainly didn't to the personal achievements, and I assume wouldn't towards guild either - when I switched factions there in WotLK, my personal total went down until I'd brought it back up. Don't bother with Arathi/Warsong, I pvped quite a lot in TBC days and I'm honoured with both, nuff said, really. Unless you want to *live* in BGs for 6 months, forget it! Much more time effective to do one of the others, I think, at least now I know I can do Scale of the Sands alright, can solo some trash if I can't get my bf to help, but it's a fast enough run that I'm hoping he will help, took maybe 2.5 hours to clear the place. -- EU-Draenor: Sagart (85 Undead Priest) Tairbh (85 Tauren Druid) Buinne (82 Troll Shaman) Balgair (80 Human Rogue) Ruire (80 Blood Elf Paladin)
