PC port of a console if ever there was one. I remember the frustration the first and only time I tried to install a user map on ut3, before the forums had guides on how to do it. Completely different to any other UT, paths are randomly invented and useless, and very untuitive (to the player, what's cooked and uncooked? Why do they need to know?) No package handling system like .umod. The best bit though was that map was a rewrite of CTF-Andaction. A map famous because it was small - only 48kb for ut99. Under UT3 the same map was 17 *megabytes*. Okay - the mapper got carried away with events and textures but it was still just a box!
