Announcing Thief Fan Mission Manager.

-Organize and test your FM files
-Integrated web browser with all the major Thief sites bookmarked
-View & download FM's from the 4 major FM sites
-View images, textures, backgrounds, AI, etc contained in FM files.
-Play audio & video files contained in FM files.

You need to have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed to use this program.

Sounds good except for the .net framework.

What is it that everyone hates about the framework? I've received countless
emails about this. "Can't you do a version that doesn't require the
framework?" Those who actually give a reason for not wanting it say that its
a "huge runtime library". As far as I'm concerned, Windows itself is a huge
runtime library that every application requires to run.

Even Thief requires DirectX (which is a runtime library itself) in addtion
to Windows.

Why do I use the Framework? I don't know C, or Java, or Ruby, or Python, or
Assembly, or Perl. I know VB and I like VB for its ease of use. It allows me
to do things rapidly like embedding a web browser and media player in the
application that would take far much more time than I have otherwise.

Windows Vista comes with the Framework integrated into it, so it's not even
an issue of having to download and install it if you have Vista. It's only
about 22MB if you do have to download it.

So I can't really understand the reluctance about the .Net Framework. It
works for me.

Okay, except for the .net framework, can this program be run even if
Garrettloader is used? I would guess that these are two separate
programs, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

Yes. It does not do the same thing as GarrettLoader. If you use this program
to move files around, Garrett loader will see the changes the next time it
loads. This program can even use GarrettLoader's database as well as
DarkLoader's database.

Terry,
Downloaded your newer version. Now have to wait for new T2 FMs to come
out.

Haven't installed the previous version yet. Tomb Raider Anniversary is
out and that has been taking up my time.
