Dark Loader wont work after I

On another machine I tried installing System Shock 2. Then I ran the patch. Ehh well the game would not run so I uninstalled it. Ok so went back to play thief 2 via dark loader 4.2. Oh well ... now all I get is kernal error. I tried reinstalling a ne copy of DL but to no avail... I am thinking of removing all games from that one PC and starting new. Even deleting the FM's etc... T2X complained that there was a different FM installed so I could not access that.. oh well... also I was able to run T2 with the FM that was installed... I recommend getting Winguides Windows registry guide (for free or to read up on the net) and tweak things manually. It will also make your system a lot more responsive and secure. If you just want to tune up there is also TweakManager which does things for you through an interface, but is not so much fun and quite limited compared to manual tweaking.- > > Will have to redownload dark loader and T2X etc though.
