I downloaded a map pak of Quake 2 DM levels for Q3. I extracted the pak file into the baseq3 directory. How to I play the maps? They do not show up on the menu. Thanks

I have no idea whether that particular pak is properly set up for it. You can open the pak file with winrar and look at the exact map names if you need to. :)

I'd run one myself, but I've only got 256Kbps upstream bandwidth, so it'd be a laggy fooka. <g> -- -- * I always hope for the best. Experience, unfortunately, has taught me to expect the worst. I downloaded Q3offline and started using it again. I had quit playing Quake. Now if I could just find my old DM maps again. I gave the ones I had saved on disk away. Thanks

Thanks I like to play custom maps. I never found a good way to end up with the same maps as the server without just downloading everything you see.
