Any good Quake IV stuff to download?

I've really got nothing, I just downloaded the QuakeMas map pack, which
had a few nice maps. I've yet to download any other maps, mods, skins
etc... (I have grabbed a few netdemos). Is there anything out there
worthwhile?
I miss the early days of Quake 3 when we were all trying new stuff out
and wrecking our q3 installs. Will there never again be little black
boxes and missing shaders under my Christmas tree?

Not much, bud...one or two things worth checking out...nothing major...InstaGib, WoD,
Quake4World, and a few others...all pretty much in development...nothing that grabs you by the
cojones and screams, "Play with Me!!!"

After I posted this I went to http://quake4.filefront.com/ and browsed
the sections, most of them had *0* files.
I think the game engine and the multiplayer are really pretty good with
quake 4, I'd wonder if the Doom3 engine is very hard to mod for.
My main impetus for this question is having been playing Classic Doom
for Doom 3 the last couple of days, which is fantastic, of course it
only took those guys a year to remake the first episode from Doom 1.

The Doom3/Quake 4 engine is by no means hard to mod for. The SDK is much
easier to use than Quake 2. (I never messed with Quake 3 but it didn't look
too good to me.) Once the holidays are past us I intend to dig into it a lot
more.

I think the reason relatively little modding is going on right now is the
competition from many other excellent games.

Check out Quake 4 Maximizer (www.q4max.com). If you liked OSP or CPMA
you'll love where the mod is heading. arQon is I believe the lead
programmer for this mod so expect great things :) they have an early
release which modifies the HUD to a more CPM/OSP style, and they've added
fullbright skins and vertex lighting for damn near 60 FPS at any spot on any
map. No air control yet, so don't plan on doing any crazy trickjumping
right out of the box...err..download but since that was a major part of CPMA
I bet they're working on it.
