Q2's graphics are poo anyway.

I'm sorry but if anyone can show me a SHOTGUN that lights up green when you
fire it then please do....

The blaster is an energy based weapon so I can understand.......

Try playing the Lava Tomb ( I think that's the one ) DM level.... theres a
bit where the floor opens and closes... stand on top of it in GL mode and
look at the colour of your gun ( WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED )

The Unreal engine has some of the most realistic lighting effects around,
but it was designed for single player ( which is a big pile of poo )
