As far as I know BeOS is still in beta stages, so although it works fine and everything with most things, they are still working on it. I don't think it has the graphics drivers needed for 3d acceleration yet either (this is really up to the manufacturers like Diamond, Creative, etc, and I haven't seen ANY sign of drivers from these companies for BeOS.) Although if there are drivers around, maybe somebody with programming experience could port it to BeOs. I know nothing about actually doing so though - it might be difficult because it has an entirely new structure, and has been programmed from the ground up rather than slowly evolving. I could be wrong though! :)
