What are these - a ready set of another button mapping?
So there isn't a way of bounding them in the game?
And btw what do i do with those on the site? Just dl them and put in the
baseq folder?

well yes, but they also will give you an idea of how to make your own
configs.

Sure there is, either through the menus:
 -esc
  -options
   - customize controls.

or through the console:
 -thilde
  -bind [buttonname] "[command]"

The last version won't stick till the next game tho.
(which is nice for a temporary bind).

Basically yes, but judging from your posts I don't think these configs
is what you want atm.

I just want to rebind the weapon buttons. That's all i want:)
And since the're not in configure controls i had to ask here:).
So this "-bind [buttonname] "[command]" should work? It would go i.e. "bind
q rocket launcher" ? or with all that brackets?

They're not? Heh, seems its been a long time since I changed anything
through the menus then :)

I put the brackets in to show these parts where supposed ot be replaced,
anyway to bind the rocketlauncher to f.ex the CTRL button you type in:

bind CTRL "use rocket launcher"

yes, you need the "'s.
to make your settings stick put your binds in a "Autoexec.cfg" in your
baseq2 folder.

To see an example which I think is fairly readable take a look at:
http://havard.skale.no/html/q2_cfg.htm
browse down to the "Keys.rc" section.
