When I select Multiplayer>Player Setup I get the titled error message. I can setup my player name and model with autoexec.cfg but would like to do it the "right" way. -Kent

Hi Kent,
For some reason, Q2 can't find the model files located in
Baseq2/Players. Check the directory, it should contain subdirectories for
Male, Female and a few others.

I think this came up a long time ago and the baseq2\players directory must contain only model sub directories - if there are any plain files in that directory, move them elsewhere or q2 model menu will get confused... -- pop is Mark If all is not lost, where is it? -- "Kent_Diego" <None@Nomicrosoft.com> wrote in message news:x7n6e.7425$L64.6586@okepread07... > When I select Multiplayer>Player Setup I get the titled error message. That did it. I deleted everything from \players directory but \MALE and
\FEMALE subfolders and now it works.
Thanks,
Kent
