Hi! I was wondering if anyone out there possessing a Voodoo Rush based AT3D card from Alliance Semiconductor has had problems with textures being all 'smeared' (i.e. looking just like my first attempts at texture mapping :-))? In games such as GL Quake, GL Hexen, Showdows Of The Empire (Demo) and Jedi Knight (Demo) and also, all the DirectX demo applets, I get this problem. I'm running with the latest DirectX5, Glide 2.42 and the latest AT3D drivers from Alliance's web-site. Now, according to Alliance, their AT3D drivers are compatible with DirectX3a (no mention of DX5 :-)), so I believe that therein may the problem lie (at least as far as Direct3D games like SOTE and Jedi are concerned). Anyone have any comments on the above? Otherwise I guess I'll just have to wait until Alliance get around to releasing some new AT3D drivers. Thanks in advance. ------> Marcus "Swamp Thing" Whitlock, Software Engineer / Technology Programmer - Raven Software Corp.
