I received this message from Jay Wilbur (CEO of id Software), in reply to my question about the recent Quake hoax. He told me that his newsfeed was down, but he would like to post the following statement about the beta version of Quake. Some nice good advice... 1) Do not believe "I have the beta"ers. 2)
Don't ask about the release date because it'll be AS SOON AS IT IS
FINISHED. :)
