I received this message from Jay Wilbur (CEO of id Software), in reply
to my question about the recent Quake hoax. He told me that his newsfeed
was down, but he would like to post the following statement about the
beta version of Quake. So here it is:

> From: Jay Wilbur <ja...@idpentium.idsoftware.com>

You should save this posting for future reference... I'm sure that we will
see more and more bad jokes by the time Quake is about to be released.
