I was wondering if anybody might remember this mod from several years ago. In '97 or '98 i played this mod for quake on mplayer named q-ball. It was for original quake not quakeworld so the lag was pretty bad. But it was great team game. There were 2 teams and the object was to find the quad damage. Once the quad damage was held your team would gain a point every 10 seconds. 1 player on the team would hold the quad damage, while holding it they would only have their axe available relying on their teamates to protect them. You could "throw" the qball by switching to another weapon. The mod was really fun and I havent seen it since mplayer had it for quake a long time ago. Has anybody ever recreated this mod?
