cl...@cs.scarolina.edu (F Rodney Clay) mentioned about Liu Kang's fatality
"glitch": I consider it a "feature" since Liu Kang's fatality doesn't
dismember or destroy the opponent in any serious way, you ought to be able to
torture your victim before he/she dies! To do this, all you have to do is to
back off to the other side of the screen (as Liu Kang) when the "Finish Him/
Her" sign comes out and do the fatality. This gives you enough distance so
Liu Kang won't be able to uppercut the victim as he finishes his flip. Now
you will have time to do four attacks before time runs out. Some of my fave
combos include:

	1. fireball, flying kick, and sweep the guy on the floor (he/she will
actually get up to fall on the ground again! Real cool looking).

	2. if the victim is close or next to the wall, use the elbow attack in
rapid succession (this is a REAL cool beating) since the victim
backs off when being hit, having his/her back against the wall means
you don't have to walk forward for the next elbow hit. You can do
3 or 4 of these and then do the flip again and uppercut him/her for
	   the coup de grace.

	3. elbow attack, fireball, jump behind the victim and do a roundhouse.

If the victim is no longer standing but you still have time, I like to
flip around hearing Liu Kang yell.

	Other fatality "glitches" I've seen/done:

Sonya: you can actually torch the guy before you hear "Finish Him"!

Sub-Zero: this is almost impossible, but I did it once. I think it has
to do with how much strength your opponent has left, so you
probably has to "time" it right so that right after the last
hit, you freeze the victim and pull the head off while the
	 	  body is frozen!

Scorpion: this one is easier to do. Throw the victim over real quick
and do the fatality. You'll see the corpse suddenly STAND UP
and then the skeleton kneels down again! Most comical move.

Kano: I've only heard about this but never seen it happen before. It
was said that you can have the victim lying on the ground and
still be able to rip a heart out of the air?!

Johnny Cage: with the ninjas, Kano, and Cage himself, you can knock out
at least 2 heads if you time it right. With all the guys
(except for Cage himself) you can do the fatality and then
go for the nutcracker - you'd end up with a victim
standing as if drunk with their head on the neck while you
see another head on the ground! :D

Regarding MK2: I think I read it on this newsgroup a while ago that
Sonya and Johnny Cage will be canned, because nobody really plays Sonya (not
true) and that Cage's gotten way popular (I agree).

I've seen some people do this with some regularity. I'm not sure how though.

Once, by accident, I managed to do the fatality on Sonya after she had
started to fall down. SubZ picked her back up, yanked her head off,
then let her rest in peace. If anyone knows how I can do this
consistently, please let me know!

A freeze fatality is easy enough. I'm one of those people that can do
it with some regularity.. Just get their life meter down to almost zero, then
freeze em. Flip em over, and freeze them again, they should be out of life,
and you can rip thier head off. It looks best when you do it at the stage
right before Goru, when the screen doesn't get dark. By the by, why DOESN'T it
get dark at that particular stage? Just becuase Goru jumps down or something?

Heres how we all do the "popsicle":
So far it only works if you kill them with a sweep. After they die
(actually, do it right away.), sweep them again, immediately throw an ice ball
and then immediately do the fatality. It almost always works.

I do the popsicle by freezing an opponent when they're
down to very low health. Then, throw them, which kills
them and immediately throw the freeze at them. If you
freeze them immediately, you'll have time to walk over
and rip their spine out.
