In article <Y%VA2.353$_21.326@server1.news.adelphia.net>, tabmok99@geoshitties.com says... > > Overcome != cure > > If they can overcome it, then fine. WRT homosexuality, they have nothing to overcome. > If you weren't stuck on this > one-track mind where you think I'm "demanding" a cure, you'd have > seen that sooner. I not stuck. You are making assumptions again. I have merely pointed out that you are constantly saying that a cure is required. It seems you have the one track mind. > I'm saying that if homosexuality was caused by a gene, then so would > all the other horrible things we have in our society and assuming for and all the good things... > a minute that it were caused by a gene, that wouldn't make it right. but it does not make it wrong either. > You still dodged the question (and guess what, four messages later :P) Asking for confirmation is not dodging. You actually completely ignore my questions which is what my "4 message" statement was in reference to. You do not ask for clarification etc you merely act as if the text were never there yet you keep it in your reply. :P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P > Would you *want* him in the care of an institution? Would you care > what happens to him? Still waiting... > > Did this order just appear one day or was it always present? If it is a > > developed disorder, was it gradual or sudden? > > Let's say it was just suddenly noticed and that we don't know if it > was gradual, sudden, always there, or what. Now would you want to > find out? Wouldn't you want him to get better? I guess so. What is your point? > > > > He is different. Possessions do not make a person. Life does. > > > > > > You seem to have ignored all the other things I mentioned (like > > > memories) so please re-read. > > > > I have no need to. How come it is OK for you to read my comments and > > ignore the parts you choose but when someone dies the same with yours you > > tell me to read it again. Hypocrite! > > Ooh, you actually spelled it right this time. Different news reader sans American spell checker. > Anyway, I never ignored > the parts I chose, that was just something you kept saying that wasn't > true. You actually were. You do. I am not going to get into this again. > > not relevant. Experiences change people. > > They change the person's behaviours, the way the person acts, their > outlook on life, and not the actual person. > > > His experiences are due to actions of his choice. Therefore his actions > > made him what he was. > > His experiences are due to actions of his choics, yes. His actions don't > have any bearing on who he is though. Have you not heard of this thing they call personality. It has nothing to do with biology since it is a state of mind and being. This is what makes a person unique. It is this that is affected by life which is why your arguments do far are just so much horse shit. This does change with time and circumstance and the person you knew 20 years ago could be completely different to the one you know today. Mark.
