Again, we're getting off the drugs thing. Each species wants to ensure their
own survival, therefore a I (being a human) would like to keep the human race
from dying and/or becoming no better than the beasts of the jungle.

That doesn't sound like a negative reason to me.

But there are still negative effects. Someone using drugs to 'get away from
it all' *hurts* themselves; Someone visiting Amish Country takes a *risK* of
hurting themselves, a very small one at that.

How about "I wanna do drugs cuz I'm not sposed to"?

I think the law is pretty much just fine the way they are right now, but if
anything it's not being enforced enough.

That's right, let them move wherever they want.

People who take these things are often in a temporary state of depression,
it's just not right to let them end their life esp. when they have so much
ahead of them.

You don't think one person would decide to try drugs now that they're legal?
Think about what society would be like right now if drugs were accepted as
much as cigarettes and alcohol. You'd see a lot more of it in advertising,
parents would come home after work and get high in front of their kids. Even
if you were right, and not one person's decision to use drugs was changed
(which is impossible, but just for sake of arguement) you must admit the
future would have more users than if the legalization hadn't happened.

I didn't say "Everyone". You're putting words in my ass again. You however,
did say you didn't think anyone would be affected.

But if they were legal, it's logical to say that I would have done them
earlier, or more often, or maybe become an addict.

When we're talking about life, it's a lot.

Yeah you're right, what's the problem with thousands dying and ruining their
lives, and the lives of their friends and families? Nothing wrong with that,
right?

No, that's freedom of speech. Drugs push people more than movies and music,
anyway.

I don't have any statistics to look at, but I'm willing to wager that most
suicides have something to do with drugs.

You don't care about life anyway, you're only taking this position because you
like drugs and it would be so much more convenient to you if you could do it
more publicly. At the expense of hundreds or thousands or maybe even
trillions in the years to come.
